Taking photos inside the app
To complete the setup of your vehicle, you'll need to take some photos with the app.
ClearWatt uses photos to identify key pieces of information from your vehicle. We require the following photos to be taken:
- Registration photo - clearly showing your number plate
- Wheel photo - clearly capture one of the 4 wheels on the outside of the vehicle. This is used as part of our real-world range calculations for your vehicle
- Odometer photo - this photo is only required if you have not connected your car to our system.
- Charging cable photo - this photo is optional and is used on your report to show the onward buyer that the vehicle has ac charging cable inside.
For security reasons, all photos taken with our app are geo-tagged.
