How to get started with the OBD Flash Test

A guide for retailers on how to get started with our OBD flash test. 

To get started with our OBD flash test you'll need to complete the following steps in order:

  1. Download the PKC app from your app store (note: this is a separate app to ClearWatt's)
    1. iOS
    2. Android
  2. Open the app and accept the location and bluetooth permission prompts when they pop up on-screen
  3. On the first page click the play button and enter the User Code provided to you by the ClearWatt team. The code will start with CLW.
  4. Click the Question Mark button to validate the code
  5. If you're on Android, head to the native settings app and connect the OBD bluetooth device to your phone. Ensure the OBD device is plugged into the OBD port during the connection process. The OBD device will appear as "OBDII" when you search for devices. 
  6. If you're on iOS you will connect to the OBD device later on within the PKC app.
